The Details.....
Leicester City council are promoting a 'Community Speed Watch' scheme. The purpose is to reduce accidents, pollution, educate & generally improve the quality of life of local residents.

This is achieved by volunteers using detection equipment to monitor the speed of traffic. The details of speeding vehicles are passed onto the Police, who send out letters to offenders outlining the concerns of local residents.

In order to be eligible we need:

- 200 signatures
- 6 to 12 volunteers to operate the scheme

To offer your support please email the parish council at queniboroughpc@tiscali.co.uk; send a letter or drop into the to the parish council office stating you will support the scheme; sign the form at the village news agents. Also state your interest if you would like to become a volunteer - training will be given!
